Claudia M. Guerrero Monteza is the Director of International Cooperation of the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT) of the Republic of Panama. Mrs. Guerrero obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in Management from the Latin-American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT) and a Technical diploma in Financial Administration of the Institute Guillermo Subercaseaux of Bank Studies in Santiago, Chile.
Mrs. Guerrero has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an analyst of international relations and has been part of the Diplomatic Body of Panama, accredited and recognized before the Government of the Republic of Chile (1992-1996). From 2004 until 2009, Mrs. Guerrero worked as the Deputy Director and Director General in Charge of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Health, were under her responsibilities were advising the Minister and Vice Minister about global health, alignment of regional health policies, international family affairs and social affairs among other topics. Among her interests stands here participation in the Committee of Social Business Responsibility of SENACYT and as a member of the Caravan of Social Assistance of Diplomatic and Panamanian Women.
